Jasmine Stidham has joined MSU Debate as an Assistant Debate Coach after coaching at Dartmouth College for five years.
At the collegiate level, Stidham helped coach Dartmouth to win the 2021 Copeland Award and the National Debate Tournament two years in a row.
“Jasmine is a great addition to MSU Debate,” said Carly Watson, Director of Debate. “She has experience coaching teams at the highest levels of policy debate and will be invaluable as we enter this season.”
Stidham also worked as the Assistant Director of Debate at the Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, CA for four years where her students broke various community records.
As a high school coach, Stidham qualified dozens of students to the Tournament of Champions (TOC) in Lincoln-Douglas and policy debate, including two TOC finalists in her first three years as a coach.
Stidham graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2018 where she debated for four years in college policy debate.
